Otzma Yehudit Launches Election Campaign Targeting Israelis in Uman
Otzma Yehudit has launched an election campaign billboard in Uman, Ukraine, targeting ultra-Orthodox voters ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections amidst an ongoing war.

Following the closure of party candidate lists for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections, campaign efforts are intensifying abroad. Following previous overseas advertisements by Gadi Eisenkot and his Yashar! party in Cyprus, Itamar Ben Gvir's «Otzma Yehudit» party has now launched a campaign targeting Israeli travelers in Uman, Ukraine.
A campaign billboard for «Otzma Yehudit» was documented in Uman, a primary destination for Israeli pilgrims, particularly from the ultra-Orthodox sector, though it attracts others as well. This move represents a strategic push by «Otzma Yehudit» to capture ultra-Orthodox votes, competing directly with «Яхадут ха-Тора» and «ШАС».
Estimates indicate that between 40,000 and 45,000 Hasidim—accounting for more than a single Knesset mandate—are expected to fly to Ukraine this year despite the ongoing war with Russia. The Israeli government is funding security operations for the pilgrimage at an estimated cost of approximately 700,000 shekels.
