Comedian Ori Bruer Cast in New Israeli Military Comedy Film
Comedian Ori Bruer has been cast in the upcoming Israeli military comedy film 'Ha-Tovim le-Tis', starring alongside Shahar Hason and Avraham Gur Aryeh's directorial project.
Actor and stand-up comedian Ori Bruer, who first captured public attention a decade ago on the reality show 'Ha-Yafa ve-ha-Hanun', has landed a major role in the upcoming Israeli military comedy film 'Ha-Tovim le-Tis'. Bruer will star alongside Shahar Hason, Yael Elkana, Avraham Aronson, and Michelle Pro.
The film, directed by Alon Gur Aryeh, follows a chaotic social experiment conducted by the Israeli Air Force where a group of unconventional candidates who do not fit the classic pilot mold find themselves in flight training. Hason will portray a schemer given a chance to avoid military prison by enlisting, while Aronson plays a flight cadet.
Production is set to begin soon, forcing Bruer to reschedule and cancel several of his stand-up comedy performances during the intensive shooting schedule.
