Police Raid in Akko: Drug Den Dismantled

Police officers from the Akko station, in cooperation with YASAM Asher units, conducted a raid on a compound in the city suspected of being used as a drug den. During the operation, a suspect was arrested on charges of operating the facility and was transferred to the Akko station for questioning.
During a search of the premises, officers seized a quantity of a substance suspected to be crystal meth, exceeding amounts for personal use, as well as ammunition. Furthermore, security cameras suspected of being installed for illicit purposes were dismantled.
As part of the operation, forces also raided another compound in the Old City of Akko. There, they located and seized over 100 grams of a substance suspected to be hashish. Based on the findings of the investigation, the police intend to request that the court extend the suspect's detention.
