Knesset Speaker Ohana Rejects Genocide Accusations at Council of Europe
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana forcefully rejected genocide accusations during a Council of Europe meeting in Rome, displaying a memorial book containing six million iterations of the word "Jew".

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana addressed European parliamentary leaders in Rome on Thursday during a Council of Europe meeting, forcefully rejecting accusations that Israel is committing genocide.
Condemning International Inaction
At the peak of his speech, Ohana raised a memorial book listing the word "Jew" six million times, declaring, "This is what a real genocide looks like," drawing applause from those present. The President of the Parliamentary Assembly, Petra Bayr of Austria, thanked Ohana in Hebrew.
Opening his remarks, Ohana criticized European leaders who he claimed adopt false accusations against Israel for political gain. "Today we face a severe crisis of international moral courage," he said.
"Every single person in this hall knows the truth: Israel is not committing genocide. Enough of this vile lie."
Displaying the Memorial Book
Ohana presented the book "And Every Single One Was Someone," featuring 1,250 pages with the word "Jew" printed six million times. He explained that holding the heavy volume helps convey the true magnitude of the Holocaust and underscores Israel's absolute duty to defend its citizens.
Concluding his address, Ohana urged European nations to stand firmly alongside Israel in a broader civilizational struggle against extremism and terror.
