Ofer Winter responds to Eisenkot: "Listen, Gadi"

The chairman of the "Amcha Yisrael" party, Ofer Winter, attacked today, Thursday, the chairman of the "Yashar!" party, Gadi Eisenkot, following his opposition to construction in the E1 area, which he expressed in an interview with "HaYom".
"I heard that Gadi opposes construction in Judea and Samaria because 'the world won't like it'", Winter said, referring to the remarks.
"Listen Gadi, if we had considered the world, the State of Israel would not have been established. If we had considered the world, we would not have liberated Jerusalem in '67. The world always wanted to stop us, but throughout history, when Israel stood its ground - in the end the world aligned. This is how it must be in Judea and Samaria, which is the cradle of our homeland. And this is how it will be regarding emigration from Gaza. These elections are about one question - who will dictate Israel's security concept for the coming years - Gadi Eisenkot and the countries of the world - or 'Amcha Yisrael'".
In an interview with Danny Zaken, Eisenkot was asked if it was right to issue the construction tender for the area between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim:
"Not now. It is a mistake that costs us an international price. I remind you that Netanyahu himself opposed it for a long time and, because of coalition pressure, surrendered and approved it".
The two also exchanged barbs yesterday. After Eisenkot said in an interview with Eyal Berkovich and Moriah Asraf that he would not agree to Winter being Minister of Defense in his government, Winter responded that he is "proud that he was not" under Eisenkot's command and that he will not join a government led by him.
