Ofek Adank after violence allegations: "I am already in a different place"
Following his arrest on suspicion of violence against his former partner and his subsequent release, singer Ofek Adank shared a song by Itay Levi on social media, with lyrics that suggest a definitive end to their relationship.
After the name of singer Ofek Adank was revealed in connection with a violence case exposed on Saturday night, he continues to share posts with his followers on social media, this time featuring a song that draws attention against the backdrop of the affair.
As recalled, Ofek Adank was identified as the person arrested on suspicion of violence against his former partner, TikToker Hadas Massori, in a case that became public after videos of their confrontation circulated online.
According to the allegations, during the dispute, Adank smashed the window of Massori's car. Conversely, it is claimed that Massori struck him with her vehicle while attempting to leave the parking lot. Massori filed a complaint, and Adank was arrested and released to house arrest after two days. The investigation is ongoing.
Following the disclosure of his name, Adank responded on his Instagram account:
"It is important to me that you hear things directly from me, without intermediaries and without false headlines."
According to him, he is going through a complex period following the breakup. "I experienced a breakup from a relationship that was full of love and powerful. During a private argument with my former partner, I was injured in my leg. Out of the pain and the storm of that moment, the argument became charged and stormy," he wrote.
Adank strongly rejected the suspicions against him:
"I have never been and will never be violent. Not towards her, not towards any woman, and not towards any person."
He added that respect for others is a supreme value in his life.
Shortly after his identity was revealed, Adank shared the song "02" by Itay Levi from his latest album. The lyrics contain references to a breakup and distancing between partners:
"Why are you waiting? It's a waste of the years, delete the pictures, take your things. And if we meet again suddenly, don't say hello to me — I am already in a different place."
The choice of the song is particularly notable given the recent events, as the lyrics deal with erasing memories and moving on. Adank did not provide a specific explanation for his choice, but the post, shared shortly after the affair was exposed, leaves little room for doubt.
