Singer Ofek Adanek Releases First Song Addressing Ex-Partner Since Arrest
Israeli singer Ofek Adanek has released his first song since his domestic assault arrest. Titled 'Natati Lach Bayit', the track features highly personal lyrics addressing his ex-partner and the public scandal.

For the first time since his arrest on suspicion of assaulting his partner, Israeli singer and songwriter Ofek Adanek has released a new song titled "Natati Lach Bayit" (I Gave You a Home). Although it is not explicitly stated that the song is about his famous ex-partner, it is difficult not to read the new release as a personal indictment against her.
"With you, everything is a lie, cheap manipulations, I sat quietly," Adanek accuses right at the opening of the song, which he co-wrote with Tal Kastiel and Nuriel Yashar.
He continues to question her actions in the lyrics:
"Why do you spill my blood and then look for someone to blame?"
Later in the track, the singer addresses the public fallout of their relationship, singing: "Because of you, I am more famous, because of you, I don't leave the house," while also admitting his conflicted feelings: "I am dying to cut you off, but also dying to kiss you."
In what appears to be a direct reference to the violent incident that led to his arrest, Adanek sings: "You went after me on Instagram Stories when I went to work, we made mistakes on some morning of swords." He concludes the song with a plea for privacy: "I hate that this is in front of everyone, I am dying for us to just stop."
