NTA Appoints Four New Directors to Advance National Metro Project
NTA appointed four new board members, including Daoud Khoury, Sivan Detauker, Gilad Rabinovich, and Avi Deutschman, to advance the national metro project.
NTA (Metropolitan Mass Transit System) has announced the approval of four new directors to its board: Daoud Khoury, Sivan Detauker, Gilad Rabinovich, and Avi Deutschman.
The appointments were approved by the Government Companies Authority Appointments Committee, followed by Minister of Transport and Road Safety Miri Regev and Minister responsible for the Government Companies Authority David Amsalem. The new directors will serve a three-year term.
Background of the New Board Members
Daoud Khoury is the CEO of Carmel Khoury Ltd., a real estate company operating in Nazareth, with extensive experience in finance and investments. Sivan Detauker has served as CEO of the Israel Hotel Association since 2024. Gilad Rabinovich brings over thirty years of management experience, having served in CEO and director roles across leading Israeli companies. Avi Deutschman has been an advisor to the Accountant General at the Ministry of Finance since March 2024.
"The metro is much more than a transportation project; it is a growth infrastructure for the State of Israel," said NTA Chairperson Yodfat Apek Erez.
Strategic Importance of the Metro Project
The strengthening of the board comes at a critical time for NTA as it advances the massive national metro project. The new professional composition is expected to oversee the complex infrastructural developments aimed at connecting housing and employment across the region.
