NSC Warns of Global Terror Threats Ahead of Oct 7 Anniversary
The National Security Council warns of heightened terror threats against Israelis and Jews worldwide ahead of the third anniversary of October 7.

The National Security Council (NSC) issued a special public advisory today, Tuesday, warning of an increased risk of terror attacks against Israelis and Jews worldwide ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The NSC stated that terror organizations, led by Iran and its proxies along with Hamas and global jihad elements, view this date as a significant milestone for carrying out hostile operations.
As part of the guidelines, Israeli citizens abroad or planning to travel are urged to exercise heightened vigilance and refrain from pre-publishing travel plans and locations on social media. The NSC also emphasized avoiding the upload of content indicating service in the security forces, staying away from protests and gatherings, and minimizing speaking Hebrew in crowded areas in destinations rated with a Level 3 travel warning.
The NSC stressed that travel to destinations under a Level 4 travel warning must be completely avoided, including Jordan, Qatar, Somaliland, and Egypt, specifically the Sinai Peninsula.
In the event of an emergency, the NSC advises contacting local security forces in the host country first, followed by the NSC travel warning hotline operating in a 24/7 emergency mode.
