Nova, a provider of process control measurement solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, reported record third-quarter results that surpassed both analyst estimates and its own previous guidance. The company posted revenues of approximately $288 million, marking a 28% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Net income surged 46.5% to $90 million, while Non-GAAP net income grew 40.6% to $98.4 million.

Earnings reached $2.86 per share, beating analyst expectations by 6 cents. Nova also improved its Non-GAAP operating margin to 36%, up from 32%-33% in the corresponding and previous quarters. The company highlighted record revenues from advanced packaging solutions and memory chips during the period.

For the first nine months of the year, Nova's revenues totaled approximately $778 million, an 18.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The company generated $219 million from operating activities and held approximately $1.8 billion in cash and short- and long-term investments, against $735 million in long-term debt to convertible noteholders.

Nova issued an upbeat forecast for the fourth quarter, expecting revenues between $305 million and $315 million, above analyst projections. This puts the company on track to close the year with revenues approaching $1.1 billion at the midpoint of the guidance range, representing a 23.5% annual growth. Nova anticipates Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $3.03 to $3.18 for the final quarter.

President and CEO Gabi Weissman noted:

"We delivered an exceptional third quarter, posting record results in revenues and profitability while expanding our footprint in the semiconductor industry's highest-growth segments."

Despite the strong operational performance, Nova's stock has lost more than half its value since reaching an all-time high last June, trading at a market capitalization of $9.4 billion prior to the earnings release.
