Nicole Raidman's Luxury Purchase: A 15,000 Shekel Robotic Companion
Businesswoman Nicole Raidman is currently in China, where she purchased an advanced robotic dog for her son, Richie, affectionately naming it "Itzik." She has already shared footage of their morning walk, documenting her humorous attempts to get the robot to respond to its new name.

The well-known businesswoman Nicole Raidman, currently traveling in China, has made a rather unusual purchase for her son, Richie: an advanced robotic dog worth approximately 15,000 shekels. Raidman decided to give the new robot a distinctly Israeli name — "Itzik." Shortly after the purchase, she took it out for a morning stroll and documented the experience on social media.
In the footage she shared, Raidman is seen walking alongside the robotic dog, repeatedly calling out "Itzik" and trying to get it to turn toward the camera, though the robot was not particularly quick to obey its owner.
Much more than a toy
Despite its amusing appearance, this is a robot with advanced technological capabilities. The robotic dog moves on four legs and is equipped with a dynamic joint system and an array of sensors that allow it to navigate changing environments and overcome obstacles. Its internal systems enable it to maintain balance, traverse complex terrain, and even carry equipment.
Meanwhile, at least within the Raidman family, its first task is much simpler: getting used to the name "Itzik" — and perhaps, next time, turning around when called.
