Secret Santa Surprises Israeli Pop Stars Behind the Scenes of NEXT Tour
Israeli pop stars preparing for the NEXT concert series are playing a secret gift game. Singer Osher Coen received a massive food delivery linked to singer Odia Azulay.
Behind the scenes of the NEXT show, a secret game of "secret santa" has captured the participants as they prepare for their upcoming concert series. The first star to receive a surprise was singer Osher Coen, who was treated to a massive gourmet delivery from the famous Oved BaKfar restaurant.
The giant delivery included a rich selection of salads, skewers, meats, and other treats in branded packaging. Coen immediately tried to guess the identity of his secret benefactor, initially suspecting Omer Adam and thanking him with a hug. However, Adam denied any involvement, leaving the mystery unsolved.
According to Nadav Bornstein, rumors later pointed to Eden Fines, recalling that Coen once famously flirted with her by sending food from Oved BaKfar instead of flowers. But the culinary mystery was ultimately solved, with singer Odia Azulay revealed as the mastermind behind the generous treat.
Odia's connection to the restaurant is hardly a coincidence: the singer released a hit song titled "Oved BaKfar"—sharing the name of the eatery—which features the lyric "We'll meet like always, Oved BaKfar."
Meanwhile, the star-studded lineup has been gearing up for the NEXT concerts, featuring Osher Coen, Odia, Ben Tzur, Omer Adam, Idan Amedi, and Rita. The production blends legendary hits with unique duets and exclusive collaborations.
The tour kicked off on October 8 at the Ramat Gan Stadium, transformed into a massive frontal concert venue for some 15,000 fans. Starting December 3, additional performances will take place at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem during Hanukkah, featuring an immersive 360-degree stage setup. Last year, the NEXT shows drew over a quarter of a million spectators.
