An unusual incident occurred during the match between Hapoel Petah Tikva and Maccabi Netanya, which ended in a 1:1 draw and may be decided in the disciplinary tribunal of the Israel Football Association. During stoppage time, as a penalty was whistled and kicked in favor of Maccabi Netanya, Hapoel Petah Tikva played with 12 players on the pitch.

Official Complaint and Request for Technical Victory

Following the incident, Maccabi Netanya filed an official complaint with the association's prosecutor, demanding a 3:0 technical victory. The event took place near the 90th minute when Hapoel Petah Tikva's coaching staff made a substitution. Roi Levi was supposed to leave the match, and Tomer Altman came on in his place. However, Altman entered the field while Levi remained, resulting in an extra player on the pitch until the penalty whistle.

According to Sport 5, Maccabi Netanya demands the application of Article 64(c) of the championship regulations, which they argue mandates a 3:0 technical defeat for fielding an ineligible player. The club insists there is no room for a replay, noting that past replays involved active referee interference or deception—circumstances absent here.

Disciplinary Delay Due to Concerts

The disciplinary hearing will not take place this week due to surprising circumstances related to massive concert productions at Ramat Gan Stadium.

Although the association's prosecutor, Adv. Gilad Bergman, is expected to file an indictment against Hapoel Petah Tikva, the disciplinary hearing is delayed. The offices of the Football Association and the disciplinary tribunal are located inside Ramat Gan Stadium, but the complex is currently closed and allocated for massive performances by Omer Adam and Odya as part of the NEXT shows, leaving the tribunal waiting to convene.
