Nearor Group Invests 15 Million Shekels to Open Seven New Restaurant Branches
The Nearor restaurant group is investing 15 million shekels to open seven new branches across its Chuka, Sushi Basel, and Lucky Chicken brands, expanding into new geographical markets.

The Nearor restaurant group, owned by businessman Nir Maatuk, is expanding its operations with an estimated investment of 15 million shekels. The strategic growth plan includes opening seven new branches across the company's prominent Asian cuisine and fried chicken brands.
The expansion focuses on the Chuka, Sushi Basel, and Lucky Chicken chains. As part of the rollout, Sushi Basel will open its third restaurant in Modi'in, joining existing locations in Tel Aviv and Netanya. Concurrently, the Chuka Asian food network, which currently operates 21 branches, will add two new locations in Eilat and Beit Hanina.
Further development is slated for the Lucky Chicken fried chicken chain, in which Nearor acquired a partnership last March alongside founders Raz Rozales and Shlu Nachman. Following a recent opening in Be'er Ya'akov, the brand plans to launch three additional branches in Ashdod, Kiryat Ono, and Modi'in.
The Nearor group also controls the Wok to Walk and China Town chains, alongside Chef Yossi Shitrit's Berta restaurant. According to company management, the current expansion relies on scaling existing brands and entering new geographical markets through shared operational and management infrastructures.
"We identify significant opportunities to expand our brand operations into new regions and audiences, and we continue to invest in their ongoing development," stated owner and CEO Nir Maatuk.
