Natan Zahavi gets hit: "The media is taking care to arrange a job for him, as if he is needy"
After winning his lawsuit against 103FM radio and announcing he is looking for a new job, Natan Zahavi received a jab from Meni Assayag: "The crooked media that sees him as a great winner, markets him with love and also takes care to arrange a job for him, as if he needs more welfare in addition to the crazy welfare he received in court."
Screenwriter Meni Assayag, creator of the TV series 'The 80s', frequently expresses his views on social media regarding issues that receive widespread public and media discourse in Israel. Against the backdrop of Natan Zahavi's victory in his lawsuit against the management of the 103FM radio station and the post he published on Facebook stating that he is looking for a new job, Assayag attacked the well-known radio broadcaster and criticized the Israeli media.
In a tweet published on his X account, Assayag wrote:
"Let me explain to you why the Left and the media in Israel are rotten to the level of seven-day-old mayonnaise with mature salmonella: this terrible man came out with horrific and ultra-antisemitic statements on air, ones that even Madani would be shocked by. Following the pressure and public outrage, he was rightfully fired from the radio station. In response, he sued the radio station, and the private court of the Left, the one that was never moved by antisemitic voices, ruled that the station would compensate the deranged man with over 800,000 NIS."
Subsequently, the screenwriter harshly attacked the media in Israel and claimed that the radio broadcaster is receiving extensive assistance from it. "Now the crooked media, which sees him as a great winner, markets him with love and also takes care to arrange a job for him, as if he needs more welfare in addition to the crazy welfare he received in court. This is an anomaly and it is rotten to the level of a banana that fell asleep next to an avocado outside a hotel in Eilat at noon. What a shame."
