Tu B'Av is just around the corner, and with it comes the constant debate: who is the most in-love couple in the local scene? Mako Celebs reporter Lilach Markovitch joined the program 'Almost Shabbat Shalom' with Avi Kachon (Keshet 12) to compile a parade of the most devoted couples of the moment — those who raised quite a few eyebrows at the start of their journey, but whose love survived the test of time despite the skeptics.

The bill is now being presented to those who claimed that Noa Kirel and Daniel Peretz, who took first place, were just a PR stunt.

'Guys, accept it: this is not PR, this is a relationship. At first, everyone wanted to declare that they knew it was a setup, that both were signed to the same agency, but the guy pulled out a ring after a year and two months. We were lucky to see them celebrate their wedding last December. I have met them both many times; they are the most kitschy, sweetest couple that exists. You can't fake this. You can't fake the touch or his concern for her.'

The second couple, whom Kachon defines as 'maktub' (destiny), are Osher Cohen and Eden Pines, who married two months ago. 'Admit that you too at first said: "That is not the typecast of either partner." But both were engaged in the past, and it is always happy to see a couple who found each other. I am happy that in the end, one returns to the roots, and there is nothing like Israeli men.'

The third couple sparked quite a few storms, not just because of a 29-year age gap: Yehuda Buchbut and Michal HaKtana. 'You will be surprised to discover that they proved to us that an age gap is irrelevant. As long as there is great love, it works.' Regarding whether the two will have children, the gossip reporter replied: 'If it depends on Michal, they will have children tomorrow. I have met them and really enjoyed the dynamic; she is at her peak now.' Kachon added regarding the children's star: 'She went through a very difficult period, and thank God, it opened up for her.'

Markovitch added that the message is to let go of typecasts. 'Older, younger — it doesn't matter.' The list also included the hosts themselves, Avi Kachon and Magi Tabibi. 'How could I not include you? I knew for a year that you were together,' said Markovitch. To this, Kachon, who is 19 years older than his partner, admitted: 'She knew and kept it a secret. She called me, angry at me.'
