A prayer hall utilized by the Christian community of former SLA members in Nahariya was broken into and severely vandalized, local reports revealed on Sunday evening.

Worshippers arriving for evening services discovered extensive damage inside the facility, including shattered religious statues, torn images, and destroyed property. The incident came to light at approximately 17:00 when a member of the congregation arrived to open the hall.

The municipal community center in Nahariya has allocated the space to the local Lebanese-Israeli Christian community for prayer and religious activities for the past five years. Authorities have not yet determined the motive behind the attack, leaving open whether it stems from religious hatred or general vandalism.

A member of the community expressed deep shock over the incident, noting that the destroyed items included religious artifacts brought from Lebanon that hold immense emotional and spiritual significance for the congregation. Police are currently investigating the incident to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.
