Moshe Radman Rushed to Hospital
The high-tech entrepreneur and protest activist, placed 9th on the "Democrats" list, was hospitalized. In a post from his hospital bed, he reassured followers, criticized the government, and promised: "Tomorrow I return like a ninja."
Moshe Radman Abutbul, a prominent leader of the protests against judicial reform and the Netanyahu government, a former high-tech entrepreneur, and current candidate in the 9th spot on the "Democrats" list for the 26th Knesset, has been admitted to the emergency room of Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
The incident occurred at the height of the political campaign, less than 11 weeks before election day, after Radman suffered from chest pains and severe dizziness.
In a social media post accompanied by a photo from his hospital bed, Radman shared the stressful experience:
"Today I found myself in the ER of Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, after a bout of chest pains and dizziness."
However, he was quick to reassure his supporters regarding his condition: "Everything is fine. Probably a combination of mental overload, lack of routine, and a bit of bad genetics."
Radman used his stay in the ER to commend the medical staff and level sharp criticism at the political system. "It is amazing that this happened exactly in the week when people are talking about shared life in hospitals and the racist government is inciting its people and mouthpieces against Arab medical staff," he noted, adding that his doctor, Dr. Khalil, and nurses Marina, Noa, and Hani were "amazing and incredibly kind."
He emphasized the importance of coexistence: "Days will come when the partnership that exists in hospitals, in pharmacies, in workplaces, and in leisure spots will be everywhere. We will not allow crazy extremists and instigators from any side to prevent this."
Addressing the erosion of the public health system, the long waiting times, and the shortage of staff and beds, Radman emphasized: "There is no democracy without equality and there is no equality without a welfare state that puts the citizen at the center." He ended the post with a clarification that this is only a short stop before a full return to the field: "A fascinating day, taking an evening to clear my head, tomorrow I return like a ninja. Less than 11 weeks to the elections, anything less than a crushing victory is not an option!"
