Mosh Ben Ari's Group to Take Over Management of Gesher Haziv Hotel
The "Hof Shel Mosh" group, founded by Mosh Ben Ari, will manage the Gesher Haziv kibbutz hotel starting in October, replacing Metaylim Hotels.
The "Hof Shel Mosh" group, founded by singer Mosh Ben Ari and his partners, is expanding its hospitality operations by signing an agreement with Kibbutz Gesher Haziv to manage and operate the kibbutz hotel starting in late October.
According to Yedioth Ahronot, the move comes after Metaylim Hotels, which operated the hotel for about 20 years, decided not to renew its lease. For the "Hof Shel Mosh" group, which operates beach complexes in Eilat and Achziv, this is another step in expanding its presence in the Western Galilee. The group stated that entering the hotel sector is part of a plan to expand into additional hospitality, leisure, and vacation fields.
The group's activity began in Eilat and later expanded to Achziv, where a Thai restaurant and a holiday village were added to the beach complex. According to the report, the group also operates a site on the shores of the Sea of Galilee under a franchise model, and owns a hotel in Beit Oren as well as a property in Crete.
Metaylim Hotels, for its part, plans to continue operating in the region. The chain is expected to invest approximately 30 million NIS in building a new hotel in Achziv, featuring 76 rooms and scheduled to open in late 2027. Thus, alongside the operator change at Gesher Haziv, a new hospitality hub is also emerging near Achziv Beach.
