Miri Regev: "I use artificial intelligence a lot"
During an interview, Minister of Transport Miri Regev admitted that she actively uses artificial intelligence tools in her public work. She also addressed the situation at Ben Gurion Airport and her support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Against the backdrop of severe malfunctions and unusual congestion at Ben Gurion Airport, and ahead of the primaries in the Likud party, Minister of Transport Miri Regev arrived on Monday for an interview on 103FM radio, where she pointed an accusing finger at the airline El Al, claiming the workers' committee attempted to eliminate her politically.
Later in the interview, host Gideon Oko presented a photo that Regev had previously uploaded to social media, in which she used artificial intelligence to add a suit and tie to Benjamin Netanyahu. When asked if it was a joke, Regev refused to apologize:
"I use artificial intelligence a lot; we are running a technological digital campaign."
In the shadow of the primaries, Regev emphasized that she and her party colleagues fully back Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We trust him that this is how he sees the Likud strengthening, and this is how he sees it is right to lead the Likud to the next elections," she stated, adding that she is not at all worried about the election results.
Towards the end of the interview, Regev was asked about the recent engagement of her daughter, Michal, who survived the Nova festival on October 7.
"The truth is that you are talking to me about this and I have tears in my eyes," the minister shared. "She met her fiancé through a mutual friend who was murdered at Nova. They are survivors, along with many others who are still paying a heavy price in their souls and some also in their bodies."
