Miri Mesika sings off-key in the Alps: "This is happiness to me"
She performs on the country's biggest stages, but it turns out the singer's true harmony is found at home.

Singer and songwriter Miri Mesika packed up her family and headed for a pastoral vacation in the green landscapes of the Alps. Amidst mountain paths and breathtaking lakes, she took a moment to share a family scene with her husband and daughters with her followers on Instagram.
In the video uploaded by Mesika, the family is seen walking along a mountain path while singing together. Although she is one of the most respected and talented vocalists in Israel, she authentically confessed: "You can hear that the only one singing off-key at the end is the one singing the lead."
This did not bother Mesika at all, and she shared the footage online. "I don't mind singing off-key when I'm with them," the singer added, proving that she saves truly perfect performances for the recording studio and the stage, while in the bosom of her family, one can simply let go.
The family vacation provides Mesika not only with quality time with Ori, Tamar, and Yubi, but also with moving insights about life. The singer decided to conclude the footage from the mountains with a message regarding the love that surrounds her every day.
"When they ask me what is happiness in my eyes? Moments like these," Mesika wrote over the video. Given the shared laughter, the effortless family performance, and the mesmerizing view of the Alpine lakes in the background, one can certainly understand the happiness she is talking about.
