Israel's First AI-Based Digital School Inaugurated in Migdal HaEmek

The official inauguration of the "Shiur Campus" took place today (Wednesday) in Migdal HaEmek. It is Israel's first AI-based digital school, where studies will be conducted using advanced technology without textbooks, notebooks, or traditional writing supplies. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, the Minister of Education, the Northern District Manager at the Ministry of Education Orna Simhon, and City Rabbi Yitzhak David Grossman attended the inauguration event alongside council members, educators, and hundreds of students.

A New Pedagogical Model Without Traditional Books

The new educational institution presents a pedagogical model unlike anything previously known in the education system. There are no longer classrooms with green boards, chalk, markers, or physical textbooks. Learning is conducted exclusively on advanced tablets that combine theoretical study programs with cyber subjects.

"I am happy, proud, and excited to be in Migdal HaEmek. Migdal HaEmek is a city that is developing with tens of thousands of young people arriving here," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the inauguration.

At the center of every classroom is a smart screen through which the teacher transmits learning materials and tasks in real-time, which then download directly to the students' tablet devices. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Prime Minister officially opened the school gates alongside community leaders and educators, while students demonstrated their advanced computerized learning capabilities.

Vision for the Future in Migdal HaEmek

Migdal HaEmek Mayor Yaki Ben Haim stated at the ceremony that the school will serve as a model for children across the country. He noted the city's transformation from traditional vocational education in past decades to cutting-edge cyber and AI instruction.
