Microsoft Appoints Ohad Yassin to Head Its R&D Center in Israel
Microsoft has named company veteran Ohad Yassin as general manager of its R&D center in Israel, succeeding Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk starting in November.
Microsoft has appointed company veteran Ohad Yassin as the new general manager of its R&D center in Israel, the tech giant announced on Wednesday. Yassin will assume the role in November, succeeding Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk, who has served in the position for the past six and a half years.
Yassin joined Microsoft in 2014 and has played a pivotal role in expanding the company's local R&D operations. Notably, he established and nurtured new product groups in the fields of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, software, and hardware.
Currently, Yassin serves as a corporate vice president responsible for Microsoft's sovereign cloud operations. In this capacity, he leads the global strategy development for the Azure cloud platform and manages teams worldwide that work with clients on digital sovereignty development. He will continue to serve in this role concurrently with leading the local R&D center.
