Megan Fox Launches Exclusive Paid Content Site That Crashes From Traffic
Megan Fox launched an exclusive paid-content page on Subs.com, causing the site to crash within hours. The actress is a partner in the platform.
Megan Fox is taking her provocative image a step further and turning it into a lucrative business. Over the weekend, the 40-year-old star launched a new paid-content page on Subs.com, a competitor to OnlyFans, promising fans access to exclusive photos, videos, and content not available on social media.
The response was overwhelming, and within hours of the launch, the site crashed due to heavy user traffic. According to the Daily Mail, fans wishing to access Fox's exclusive content will need to pay $19.99 a month. In addition to the monthly subscription, the actress is offering pay-per-view content ranging from $18 to $88. Subscribers will also be able to send her direct messages.
To promote the new venture, Fox published a series of bold images, some of which are already circulating online. As expected, the photos managed to captivate users and generated unprecedented traffic to the platform. "You keep crashing the site," Fox wrote to her Instagram followers, adding that the team was working hard to restore service.
It turns out Fox is not just using the site to sell content; the actress revealed she is a partner in the platform, which was co-founded by Tim Stokely, one of the founders of OnlyFans. "For decades, women have been told that exposure is power, while someone else owns the platform, the audience, or their image," Fox said in a statement to Page Six. "I am interested to see what happens when women own all three."
