McDonald's Israel has announced the expansion of its sauce selection for its most popular item, Chicken McNuggets, with approximately 200 nuggets sold every minute across the country. To celebrate the milestone, the fast-food chain is introducing two new sauces: a creamy chili sauce, featuring a gentle sweetness with a hint of chili pepper heat, and a gold sauce combining honey, mustard, and chili, which returns following its successful launch during the World Cup promotion.

Limited Edition Sauce Pack and Anniversary Promo

To mark the launch of the new flavors, McDonald's is releasing a limited-edition sauce package containing the complete set of seven sauces for Chicken McNuggets. The special box will be sold across 150 branches nationwide for 20 NIS, or for a discounted price of 10 NIS exclusively through the company's mobile application. The sauces are available starting today at all restaurant locations and via delivery services.

In addition, celebrating its 33rd anniversary in Israel, the chain will offer its iconic Big Mac hamburger for a special price of just 10 NIS throughout the entire day, available both in-store and via the app.

Global Modernization and AI Integration

Recently, the corporation announced a massive 8.5 billion NIS investment spanning the next decade to modernize tens of thousands of branches worldwide. CEO Chris Kempczinski presented the strategic plan to investors, aiming to address stagnant customer traffic in the U.S. and global markets.

The technological transformation will introduce AI-driven systems such as 'ArchIQ', developed in partnership with Google for inventory management, and 'Archy', designed to handle drive-thru orders with 90% accuracy, saving approximately 50 weekly work hours per branch.

Alongside the global digital shift, McDonald's is adapting to changing dietary trends driven by the popularity of GLP-1 weight-loss medications among millions of consumers seeking smaller, high-protein meals. Consequently, the company plans to introduce grilled chicken sandwiches and egg-based dishes, alongside an expanded hand-breaded chicken pilot to compete with rivals like KFC.
