Television highlights for Tuesday bring major releases, led by a gripping documentary on urban climber Adam Lockwood and a new Netflix series on Matthew Perry.
Skyclimber: Scaling the Eiffel Tower
Debuting on Yes Docu and Partner TV at 22:00, this British documentary by Nick Hardy follows urban free-climber Adam Lockwood as he attempts to scale the Eiffel Tower in Paris without ropes or safety gear. Following his infamous ascent of London's The Shard, Lockwood views skyscraper climbing as a distinct language. The film explores his turbulent childhood, struggles with homelessness, and the psychological quest for control behind the dangerous stunts.
The One About Matthew Perry
Netflix premieres a three-part documentary exploring the life of Matthew Perry, beloved for playing Chandler Bing in Friends across 236 episodes, who passed away in October 2023 at age 54. Directed by Emmy winner Mary Robertson, the series chronicles Perry's journey from young comedian to television icon, addressing his public battle with addiction. Featuring unseen private archives and interviews with his sister, Mia Perry Vick, the project presents Perry as a complete person beyond his famous sitcom role.
