Urgent Recall Issued for MATRIX Ceiling Fans and TREQA iPhone Chargers in Israel
Saynet Lakat has issued an urgent recall for MATRIX ceiling fans over fall risks. Additionally, authorities warned against TREQA iPhone chargers due to fire and shock hazards.

The company Saynet Lakat Ltd., which imports and distributes MATRIX products in Israel, has issued an urgent product recall for a specific ceiling fan model due to safety hazards. According to the recall notice issued in coordination with the Chief Standardization Officer at the Ministry of Economy and Industry, consumers must immediately stop using the MATRIX ceiling fan, model MX-CF42-4CL-WH with white pull cord, barcode 6856741212158. Manufactured in China and marketed between April 2023 and April 2025, tests conducted by the Standards Institution of Israel revealed that the mechanical connection is insufficiently strong, creating a risk that the fan may detach and fall during operation.
Recall Instructions and Contact Details
The importer urges all customers possessing the affected ceiling fan to immediately discontinue its use and bring it to the importer's warehouses for replacement or repair. For further inquiries, consumers can contact Saynet Lakat Ltd. via email at [email protected] or by phone at 04-6350680. The company is located at the Shaked Industrial Park.
Additional Recall for TREQA iPhone Chargers
In a separate recall announced this week, the Ministry of Economy warned against using the 20W iPhone charger of the TREQA brand, model CH-9025, imported by Bakshi Zohar with barcode 6972047909247. Laboratory tests showed that the charger fails to meet official Israeli standards, posing severe risks of short circuits, fire hazards due to inadequate heat resistance, and potential electric shocks resulting from structural defects in the casing and plug. Consumers possessing this charger are instructed to stop using it immediately and contact the importer at [email protected] or 04-6596385 for return details.
