Three Indicted for Stealing Matador Missile from IDF in Galilee
The Haifa District Prosecutor's Office indicted three men for stealing a Matador missile from the IDF and hiding it near Shefa-Amr, with police requesting their detention until trial.

The Haifa District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment this morning against a 22-year-old resident of the West Bank and two residents of Shefa-Amr, aged 22 and 24, for stealing a Matador missile from the IDF, alongside a request to detain them until the end of proceedings.
The indictment was filed following an investigation by the Northern District's Yamar Galil police officers. According to the charge, on September 5, during targeted operations in the Galilee area, forces located unusual weaponry near Shefa-Amr—a Matador missile stolen from the IDF. During the investigation of two of the suspects, it emerged that they had another accomplice in possessing the weaponry, who also filmed himself holding the missile, and he was subsequently arrested for questioning.
Police noted that since the beginning of the year, officers of the Northern District and Border Police have seized over 700 lethal weapons and arrested armed suspects "in the act" as part of the fight against violent crime. Forces continue to arrest suspects and bring those involved to justice.
