Eurovision Icons Join Keshet 12's The Masked Singer for Special Episode
Keshet 12's The Masked Singer prepares for a Eurovision special featuring Netta Barzilai, Noam Bettan, and Yuval Rafael as guest experts doling out their douze points.

The current season of Keshet 12's hit reality show The Masked Singer is reaching a fever pitch, preparing for a special Eurovision-themed episode featuring legendary contest anthems. Joining the panel as guest experts to award their douze points are Eurovision veterans Netta Barzilai, Noam Bettan, and Yuval Rafael.
While accustomed to performing on major stages, the guest stars admit that guessing the identities hidden behind elaborate costumes is a surprisingly formidable challenge. Barzilai noted that while occasional clues spark immediate recognition, the uncertainty can be startling. Bettan confessed the experience is delightfully deceptive and harder than anticipated, while Rafael expressed shock at how difficult it is compared to recognizing voice actors in animated films.
Discussing the prospect of wearing a disguise themselves, opinions among the artists varied sharply. Barzilai and Rafael expressed intrigue at the idea of stepping into an alternate persona, whereas Bettan firmly rejected the concept, emphasizing his desire to share his authentic artistic voice rather than conceal his identity behind a costume.
Drawing from his own experience representing Israel on Europe's biggest musical stage, Bettan offered a word of encouragement to the disguised contestants. He advised them to embrace the fun despite the absurdity of performing inside giant fruit and vegetable suits, recalling his own Eurovision journey as the most exhilarating experience of his life.
