A 5-year-old boy drowned this afternoon (Tuesday) in a public pool in the town of Omer in the Negev. An MDA team was called to the scene and performed resuscitation efforts. His condition is critical.

Yesterday, a toddler about two years old drowned in a pool at a private home in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council in the Jerusalem area. MDA paramedics and EMTs who arrived at the scene provided initial medical treatment and performed resuscitation efforts, and he was evacuated by helicopter to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where his death was pronounced.

On Saturday, a 64-year-old man drowned near the Neve Yam beach south of Atlit. He was pulled from the water unconscious, and MDA teams called to the scene evacuated him while performing resuscitation efforts to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where his death was pronounced.

Less than two hours later, a man about 60 years old drowned at the Blue Bay beach in Netanya and was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition. Another 65-year-old man was evacuated in critical condition after being pulled from the sea near a beach in Herzliya.
