The Professional Football Leagues Bureau and Hapoel Jerusalem issued a joint appeal on Friday calling on Maccabi Haifa fans to attend Monday's match at Teddy Stadium and support their team in a safe, sporting atmosphere. The announcement follows Maccabi Haifa's decision not to open organized ticket sales for its supporters, citing concerns over the Jerusalem police's conduct toward the visiting fans in recent years.

Joint Security Arrangements and Dedicated Stands

Following discussions and meetings held with the Israel Police, the Leagues Bureau and Hapoel Jerusalem announced they are working alongside security forces to ensure Maccabi Haifa fans can arrive safely and respectfully. As part of the preparations, dedicated and separate stands will be allocated for the visiting fans, with organizers urging supporters to attend and enjoy a violence-free football experience.

"We believe that football should be a place where every fan can arrive, support their team, and enjoy the game," said Erez Kalfon, Chairman of the Professional Football Leagues Bureau. "We were assured that the police will act to ensure a smooth reception, and stadium access will be managed by civilian security forces."

Affordable Tickets and Club Expectations

Hapoel Jerusalem CEO Ori Shartsky added that the club looks forward to hosting Maccabi Haifa and their supporters. Tickets will be available at an accessible and attractive price of 70 shekels, including all fees, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone involved in Monday's highly anticipated fixture.
