Investigators from YAHBAL Lahav 433 have solved a murder that occurred on July 1, 2026, in Shefa-'Amr, which was orchestrated by the Sawaed criminal organization. Today, Monday, a prosecutor's statement was filed against the suspects.

According to police investigation findings, as part of the bloody conflict between the Sawaed and Khaldi criminal organizations, which has claimed dozens of victims, Ali Sawaed was murdered in Shefa-'Amr while arriving at his workplace at a bus terminal in the morning hours.

The investigation was conducted by YAHBAL Lahav 433 in cooperation with the Northern District. Four suspects were arrested, including two brothers in their 20s from Shefa-'Amr, their 17-year-old brother, and a resident of Nazareth. After about 40 days of detention, during which officers conducted a complex investigation, the police established an evidentiary basis against the four. Today, the unit filed a prosecutor's statement and a request for detention until the end of proceedings.
