Four Injured in South London Stabbing Incident as Police Arrest Several Suspects

A stabbing incident occurred today (Thursday) in South London, leaving four people injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and parts of the surrounding street were cordoned off. A heavy deployment of police and ambulances was registered in the area, with a security lockdown imposed while a police drone hovered overhead.
Local police stated that the incident was reportedly a fight between men, with several arrests made following the event. In an official statement, police noted: "Officers arrived at the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance, finding four men with stab wounds. Three of them were rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. One of them is in critical condition." London police added that "the police investigation is ongoing, and there is no indication of a broader threat to the public."
This incident comes at a time when several European countries have witnessed stabbing attacks and knife assaults this year.
