From Facebook Messages to a Real Connection
Years passed after that initial encounter, until Narkis stumbled upon Friedlan on Facebook and began sending her messages. Narkis recalled, "I saw her on Facebook. By the way, that is how I met my ex-wife too. I am not sure this thing is good, but yes." Friedlan explained her initial hesitation, noting that she had reservations about dating a famous singer who was recently divorced, and feared connecting through social media.
Narkis persisted for months, sending greetings and occasionally deleting messages when she failed to respond. The turning point finally arrived when Friedlan posted a story featuring Elad Tzafany. Narkis saw the photo, called Tzafany, and asked for help reaching her. This time, she answered.
"When I met him, he was a broken vessel," Friedlan shared, recalling that Narkis struggled with depression following his divorce and sought professional help and medication.
A New Chapter of Love
Twelve years after that wedding performance, the picture looks entirely different. The couple's relationship has long been public, with recent appearances together catching media attention. In the Channel 12 interview, Narkis described where Friedlan stands in his life today, stating, "Now it is the best. This is the greatest love I have ever had in my life, I can say that."
