Amidst frequent stock exchange reports and complex financial statements, it is often difficult for private investors to navigate the capital market. Globes presents a new column analyzing Israeli stocks, primarily from the second tier, with a market value of 500 million shekels or more. The author is Lior Wieder, an investment manager and founder of the "Machpil Revach" information service.

In a market where AI disruptions challenge many business models, the Teneh Group demonstrates how a company founded in 1981 can combine stability with innovation. Led by CEO Orit Benvenisti, who rose through the company's ranks, Teneh has transformed into a multi-disciplinary operational and technological services group. Its core division—human resources and nursing—accounts for about 70% of activity, generating approximately 1 billion shekels in annual revenue. The company's total turnover reaches 1.5 billion shekels, reflecting an average annual growth of 10% over the last five years.

Beyond elderly care, the company develops "Safe Home" projects and support for special populations, serving 35,000 households monthly. Even in Q1 2026, despite the impact of Operation "Lion's Roar," the sector recorded a revenue growth of nearly 6%, reaching 252 million shekels.

Technological Differentiation

A key differentiator for Teneh is its deep integration of AI. The group owns Step Hear, a patented technology enabling people with disabilities to navigate public spaces independently. The system is deployed in the Jerusalem light rail, Laniado Hospital, and various municipalities. Through its subsidiary, Reshef Security, the group combines physical security with AI-driven solutions, drones, and access control systems for public and financial institutions.

Institutional Support

Teneh maintains a strong balance sheet with 212 million shekels in equity, 75-100 million shekels in cash, and 77.2 million shekels in income-generating real estate. In May, the company received a significant vote of institutional confidence through a 36.5 million shekel private share placement to Meitav Dash, providing capital for synergistic acquisitions.

The Bottom Line

Diversification and demand for security technologies are primary growth drivers. Teneh's stock currently trades at a forward P/E ratio of 15, a reasonable valuation for the industry. The combination of a solid cash anchor in nursing with technological growth engines and experienced management makes Teneh a compelling fundamental investment opportunity.
