Olympic champion Linoy Ashram has firmly shut down online body shaming after a follower questioned her weight gain following her retirement from competitive sports. During an interactive Q&A session with fans mostly focused on her upcoming wedding, one user directly asked, "Are you not planning to go back to your previous weight?".

Transitioning from an elite, intensely training professional athlete to retired life brought a natural change in appearance and an increase of about 20 kilograms for Ashram. Despite facing repeated unwarranted public scrutiny, the gymnastics legend responded succinctly and with total confidence. "No, I am not going back to my previous weight," Ashram answered. "To be honest, I see no reason to go back. I look feminine and beautiful at this weight, and I love it."

Linoy Ashram remains one of Israel's most celebrated and beloved athletes in history, highlighted by her historic gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Since announcing her retirement in April 2022 at just 22 years old, she has continued to shape the sport as a coach for Israel's national rhythmic gymnastics team and as a prominent public figure.
