Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman expressed hope in a Galei Tzahal interview that Ofer Winter's party will cross the electoral threshold and join the so-called bloc of those who serve in the military.

"I hope Winter passes the threshold and joins the bloc of those who serve," Lieberman stated, adding that Winter enters politics with good intentions and still has time to recalibrate his path.

Naftali Bennett swiftly rejected the prospect of aligning with Winter, countering Lieberman's stance. "Winter does not herald change," Bennett asserted, emphasizing that Winter has sworn loyalty to Benjamin Netanyahu and pledged to support only the incumbent prime minister.

Winter previously declared that if his party enters the Knesset, he will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for the premiership. This disagreement highlights ongoing tensions within the anti-Netanyahu camp regarding Winter's place in the political landscape.
