Or Levy, a survivor of Hamas captivity, shared his profound grief on Monday following the memorial service for his wife, Einav Levy, who was murdered at the Re'im shelter during the October 7 massacre. Levy was abducted from the same location.
In a heartbreaking social media post, Levy reflected on the agonizing months he spent in captivity holding onto hope for her survival. He described how he prayed daily that she had somehow escaped or been spared by the terrorists.
Levy recalled his wife's steadfast support and her central role in their family before marking his first return to her graveside last year after 491 days in captivity. He vowed to cherish every memory they shared while raising their young son.
