Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to present US President Donald Trump with intelligence during their meeting in Washington indicating that Iran continues to expand its nuclear activity at the secret underground site "Mount Mahosh," as reported yesterday (Monday) by the New York Post, citing a source in Jerusalem.

The source in Jerusalem added that Israel is also expected to present Trump with information regarding Iran's efforts to rehabilitate missile and UAV systems damaged in previous strikes. According to the source, these findings reinforce the assessment that Tehran does not intend to abandon its nuclear ambitions or its military buildup within the framework of ceasefire negotiations with the United States.

At the same time, according to a report published in the Wall Street Journal, Israel has obtained evidence that nuclear centrifuges were recently transferred for the first time to the secret facility at Mount Mahosh, which has been under construction since 2020.

The facility is located at a depth of more than 90 meters beneath Mount Kuhlang, near the nuclear facility in Natanz. For years, there were suspicions that the site was intended to serve the Iranian nuclear program, but until now, no clear evidence of nuclear activity had been published.

The lack of evidence was one of the reasons why the facility was not targeted during previous rounds of strikes by the United States and Israel. Trump himself attempted to downplay the reports last week, telling reporters that Washington did not have information indicating activity at the site.

However, the American president recently signaled that he is willing to consider an attack on the facility. Concurrently, it was reported that American forces are preparing for the possibility of a ground operation to seize hundreds of kilograms of enriched uranium estimated to be stored in Iran.
