Which Israeli company leads the field of urban renewal? Who dominates the 'pinui-binui' (evacuation and construction) sector, and which firms are the strongest in each city? Dun & Bradstreet has released its Duns 100 ranking for urban renewal in 2026.

Data indicates that the industry is shifting toward larger and more mature projects: the number of reported housing units rose by approximately 22%, compared to a 9% increase in the number of projects. The number of occupied housing units jumped by approximately 62%, and units in projects at advanced stages increased by 27%. Despite a challenging market environment, ranked companies maintain financial stability, with 80% of suppliers reporting punctual payments.

The Dunstars list for 'pinui-binui' includes: Aura, Azorim, ICR Israel Canada Reem Holdings, Africa Urban Renewal, Boni Hatichon, Y.H. Dimri, A.T. Urban Renewal Company, Inbal, Almog K.D.A.I. Group, Gabay Group, Yuvalim Investments Group, Tidhar Group, Carasso Real Estate, and Rothstein Real Estate. The ranking categorizes firms into three groups (Dunstars, leaders, and prominent players), evaluating total project volume, planning stages, building permits, and occupancy experience.

City Leaders

Leading companies by city include: Anshei HaIr (Tel Aviv), Doron Partosh Group (Holon), Rinovo Real Estate (Herzliya), Kidar Structures (Kfar Saba and Ra'anana), Tzeleh Construction & Development (Ashdod), City Projects Entrepreneurship and Urban Renewal (Bat Yam), Oracle Real Estate Entrepreneurship (Givatayim), Yesodot Shituf-Kahn Group (Jerusalem), Basis Engineering (Rishon LeZion), Yaakov Gilboa Construction & Entrepreneurship (Haifa), Krinsky Gottlieb (Ramat Gan), T.P. Construction Company (Ramat HaSharon), and Kata Group (Petah Tikva).

Dun & Bradstreet presented these findings at the eighth annual URBAN LEADERS event. The ranking reflects the industry's maturation, shifting focus from backlog size to project quality, maturity, and execution capability.

Urban renewal remains a primary growth engine for Israel's residential sector amid land shortages. The industry faces planning challenges, high financing costs, and regulatory uncertainty. The ranking utilizes a weighted model that prioritizes projects in advanced stages of execution and occupancy, confirming the transition from planning potential to actual realization.
