Leiki breaks silence on the attraction controversy: "Tomer said very painful things to me"

In the dramatic decision episode of "Married at First Sight" that aired yesterday on Keshet 12, the couples were forced to make a pivotal choice: to end the process or to continue the relationship they were matched into, even beyond the cameras.
After 42 days of turmoil, ups and downs, the first couple to decide to continue their journey in real life were Leiki and Tomer. They were undoubtedly one of the most compelling couples of the current season, offering viewers an exclusive look at their daily lives and addressing topics rarely discussed on the show, such as intimacy between partners.

Although it is not yet known if their relationship has succeeded or if they have kept it secret until now, the bride has already summarized this intense period in a Q&A session on her Instagram page.
One of the questions addressed the issue of attraction, which appeared on screen more than once. Leiki clarified that the reality behind the scenes was far more complex than what was shown. According to her, the couple's dynamic included deep layers that remained undocumented.
"The connection was based on deep mutual emotion and a shared desire to work on our gaps," she explained, detailing why she chose to stay in the process.
"I saw quite a few reactions regarding the attraction issue. It is true, Tomer said things that hurt me. Very much," Leiki addressed the topic. "I think anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows that sometimes, precisely in the most difficult moments, unpleasant and not always accurate sentences come out. It has happened to me quite a few times in life," she added reassuringly.
"Many things were said between us—some in front of the cameras and some not," she continued, noting that what is seen on screen does not necessarily reflect reality. "There were conversations, feelings, and struggles you didn't see, some of which are likely too private to share. But alongside the difficulties, there was mainly a lot of emotion and love between us, and a lot of mutual desire to understand and work on things. That is why I wanted and chose to stay," she wrote.
She provided an unequivocal statement regarding their choice:
"If I had felt that Tomer was really not attracted to me, I would not have stayed in this situation, and certainly would not have chosen to say 'yes' at the decisions. And I think he felt the same. In short, you saw part of the story. We lived it all. Trust us."
When asked if she enjoyed her time on "Married at First Sight," she honestly admitted that she had an incredible experience. We must now wait and see what becomes of their relationship.
