Amazing Race Winner Lee Avrahami Announces Winter Wedding and Strict Prenup
Lee Avrahami, winner of The Amazing Race, is planning her winter wedding to businessman Gal Rubin, insisting on a strict prenuptial agreement and self-funding the event.

Lee Avrahami, the 27-year-old winner of "The Amazing Race" and a member of the affluent Dayan real estate family, is diving headfirst into wedding preparations just a month after her partner, businessman Gal Rubin, proposed. In an interview with mako, she revealed that the couple plans to tie the knot as early as this coming winter, no later than April. However, before even choosing a venue or a wedding dress, Avrahami insists on a strict prenuptial agreement.
Financial Independence and Strict Prenups
Avrahami, who runs a clinic and an independent social media operation alongside Rubin's business ventures, made it clear that financial protection is non-negotiable. "It is a sensitive topic, but for me it is a rule, it is mandatory. I cannot get married without a prenuptial agreement," she stated. "The agreement will be signed before we go to see venues and set a date. It will be draconian, there is no choice, but it is for both sides—he also has many assets and his own company, it protects both of us."
Beyond property division, Avrahami plans to include a comprehensive co-parenting and living arrangement framework in case of a future split. "I won't live in Herzliya while if we break up he is in Ramla. It's pragmatic, but a couple that cannot agree on a prenuptial agreement, how will they agree on running a household?"
Self-Funded Celebration and Rejecting Sponsorships
Despite her family background and the option of parental assistance, the couple decided to fund all wedding expenses entirely out of their own pockets. Avrahami emphasized that any outside help would be directed toward future savings or real estate. "We are realistic, I am not interested in spending millions on an event of a few hours just to say I did it. I prefer to take the money and buy an apartment. That showy lifestyle doesn't speak to me."
Furthermore, despite her status as a leading social media influencer, Avrahami completely rules out a sponsored or commercialized wedding. "From the moment the engagement was announced we received dozens of offers, but there will be no sponsored weddings. I don't like it, it looks cheap and bad. I like to pay. When a person works for free, it also looks free."
Reflecting on her financial philosophy, Avrahami noted that while she aspires to a comfortable lifestyle including a private home and complete financial security, she steers clear of luxury brands and ostentatious displays. "Those who truly have money don't look to show off. I don't enjoy spending on designer bags, I enjoy seeing the money in the bank generating more money and more assets for me."
