Court Rules on Dispute Between Radio Host Eliko and Liraz Erez's Father
A week after radio host Eliko obtained a restraining order against the father of his ex-partner Liraz Erez, claiming he was attacked, the court has canceled the order. Despite the tension, the parties reached an agreement, though the host described the situation as a "traumatic experience."
Nearly two years have passed since the high-profile separation of radio host Eliko (49) and his ex-partner Liraz Erez (21), which occurred shortly after the birth of their son, John. It appears that relations between the two, and specifically with Liraz's father, Shlomi Erez, remain far from calm.
This morning, the radio host appeared at the Rishon LeZion court for a hearing regarding the dispute. Eliko had obtained a restraining order against Shlomi Erez last week, alleging an assault. However, the court has now canceled the order. Despite the ruling, paparazzi cameras captured Eliko smiling both on his way to the hearing and afterward.
Liraz Erez was absent from the proceedings and did not take a side, unlike the interview she gave on the mako celebs podcast last April. Her father was represented by attorney Sagit Argaman, who stated:
"Unfortunately, this is another provocation by Eliko intended for publicity and headlines. My client is happy that the truth has come to light."
Eliko's attorney, Maya Rotenberg, stated:
"I do not usually comment on my clients' matters in the media. Pathetic people invite cameras and create news items when it comes to family. For the sake of the family, Eliko agreed to make the legal proceedings against her father redundant, despite the traumatic experience he went through. The parties reached an agreement, contrary to what has been reported. Anyone who knows Eliko knows that he is a peace seeker and a man of love."
