This surge marks a multi-month record for the currency. The sharp rise follows US President Donald Trump's call for Congress to pass legislation expected to support the crypto industry, alongside hints regarding the regulation of Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange for "perpetual futures" that is currently gaining momentum.
Ethereum jumped by 19.98%, with a market cap of $278.30 billion and a price of $2,317.96. According to the data, the currency has performed well for investors over the past week, jumping by 22.87%.
In third place is Tether, which grew by 0.02% daily and 0.05% over the last week. Its market cap totals $182.98 billion, trading at $0.9996.
Binance Coin grew by 6.99% today, with a weekly increase of 6.07%. The currency is trading at $647.90, and its market cap stands at $85.87 billion. The USDC currency jumped by 17.94%, soaring by 18.06% over the past week. Its price is $1.1903, and its market cap totals $74.26 billion. Ripple rose by 0.01% over the week, with a price of $1.0006 and an estimated market cap of $72.30 billion.
