'The lawyer harassing minors': Threat of lawsuit, fine, and even imprisonment
A lawyer threatened a 17-year-old tattoo artist with a lawsuit, a fine, and imprisonment if he did not provide the regulations for a raffle he organized. Former Knesset member Abir Kara is intervening.
In the Facebook group 'Ask a Lawyer', an anonymous user described a disturbing story involving his brother, a tattoo artist, and a lawyer whose name was not mentioned. According to the account, the post author's 17-year-old brother wanted to market his tattoo studio in a creative way and organized a raffle where the winner would receive a free tattoo.
Subsequently, a lawyer contacted him and demanded the raffle regulations, threatening that if he did not comply, his firm would sue him and he would face a fine and even imprisonment.
'This is a 17-year-old boy who is just starting his path,' the author of the post said about his brother. 'He removed the post at that very moment and uploaded an apology, after explaining to the lawyer that it was done in good faith.'
The author adds that these circumstances have not stopped the lawyer from continuing to send messages threatening legal action if the raffle regulations are not produced.
The case reached former Knesset member Abir Kara, who immediately asked to be provided with the details and attached his personal phone number. Kara demanded: 'Send me the details of the lawyer harassing minors; I will show him the regulations and the father of the regulations.'
