The Last Picture Memorial Project Returns to Yes Screens for October 7

The memorial project "The Last Picture", created by "Israel Hayom" in partnership with the "One Family" association, returns to yes screens ahead of Memorial Day marking October 7. The initiative gives faces and names to the heroes of the war through the final moments captured in photos and videos chosen by their families.

The project was established in memory of Sergeant Amit Regev, who fell during the fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Unlike traditional war archives, the project does not necessarily focus on battlefield moments. Alongside service footage, the displays showcase soldiers in everyday human moments—from a final home visit and family celebration to a quiet break in the field or sports activities.

During the broadcast on yes, viewers can scan a QR code leading to the project's Instagram page, where families share the final and most meaningful visual records of their loved ones.
