National Insurance Institute accelerates benefit payments for September

The National Insurance Institute published an important announcement today, Thursday, for benefit recipients ahead of the Tishrei holidays, confirming that several payments in September will be significantly advanced.
Unemployment benefits and income support, originally scheduled for September 14, will be advanced by six days to September 8 in honor of Rosh Hashanah. This is an official change to the payment schedule announced by the Institute today.
Later in the month, a similar adjustment will apply to long-term benefit payments. Old-age pensions, survivor benefits, disability benefits, disabled child benefits, special services, mobility, work injury, alimony, rehabilitation, nursing care, and prisoner of Zion benefits, which were due on September 28, will be moved to September 22 in honor of the Sukkot holiday.
This advancement affects a wide range of recipients. Specifically, those receiving disability benefits, senior citizens, nursing care recipients, and work injury victims are expected to receive their payments on September 22 instead of the standard date of September 28.
Today's announcement serves as the official update to the payment calendar. While various estimates regarding early payments due to the Tishrei holidays had circulated in recent weeks, the National Insurance Institute has now finalized the dates.
"Attention: we are advancing benefit payments!" the National Insurance Institute stated in its official release.
