Stowaway Discovered Aboard Tel Aviv-Bound Flight at Larnaca Airport
An unauthorized woman infiltrated a TUS Airways flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv, discovered only during a headcount before takeoff, sparking passenger concern.

A security breach occurred early Monday at Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus aboard a TUS Airways flight bound for Tel Aviv. Minutes before departure, a woman not listed on the passenger manifest managed to infiltrate the aircraft.
The stowaway was discovered during a routine headcount conducted by the flight crew. Upon comparing the physical count with the passenger list, the crew identified one extra person on board, located the woman, and removed her from the plane.
Addressing anxious passengers, the captain explained that the individual had been denied entry to Israel by immigration authorities. Some passengers demanded the flight be grounded following the incident.
The captain praised the crew's vigilance for preventing unauthorized travel. TUS Airways has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the security failure.
