The wedding of the year of Omer Adam and his partner Sasha Israelovich on the Italian Riviera is approaching. Although the couple tried to maintain their privacy, details regarding the much-talked-about celebrations were revealed to mako celebrities this morning.

After the wedding week in Portofino, which kicks off this coming Sunday with the Chuppah on Thursday, Adam and his fiancée are not in a hurry to return home. The newlyweds plan to celebrate their Shabbat Chatan overseas, but they encountered a tiny glitch: there is no local Jewish community in the fishing town they can join. The emerging solution is to move the Sabbath celebrations to the neighboring port city of Genoa, where they will conduct the tradition in one of the city's synagogues. The couple is also likely planning to extend their vacation overseas at least until the beginning of the Hebrew year in September.

The choice of Europe grants the couple perfect privacy and pays tribute to Sasha's family roots, as part of her family resides in Italy. To ensure that no close friends miss the five-day wedding festival, Omer and Sasha hired a special production company to manage a personalized flight schedule for each guest. The couple is funding flight tickets for friends and family from the first circle, allowing full flexibility in their arrival and return dates. Some important guests have even chosen to rent their own private executive jets to overcome time constraints.

However, it turns out that even full funding cannot solve all the scheduling problems of the show-biz stars. Aviv Geffen faced a dilemma, as he was invited on the exact same date to the wedding of his close friend, food blogger Daniel Amit, and hostage survivor Emily Damari. Geffen and his wife Sharon Kaufman decided not to give up: they will fly to Italy for the first days of Omer and Sasha's festival, but will board a flight back to Israel just before the Chuppah to manage to dance at the other wedding as well. On the other hand, two of Omer's closest friends from the industry, Nasrin Kadri and Sasson Shaulov, will be forced to skip the event due to previous commitments during the busy summer season in Israel.

Either way, it seems that those who do arrive in Genoa and Portofino will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
