Former soccer player Omri Kanada on his financial situation: "I have a family to support"

Former soccer player Omri Kanada, who stars in the "Power Couple" TV show on Channel 13, made headlines after footage circulated on social media revealed that he continues to work as a delivery driver. In a video posted on Instagram, Kanada addressed his followers:

"I saw the pictures that were published, which caught me during a delivery. I don't see anything special in it. I am proud of what I do. So yes, I am on a TV show, I am famous, I do podcasts, and I do stand-up, but at the end of the day, I am a person with responsibilities. I have a home, a wife, and two daughters to support. I am also after a heart attack, so I cannot work just any job."

On Wednesday, the former soccer player made a moving confession on "Power Couple," sharing his financial struggles in recent years. In a conversation with his partner, Dorin, Kanada described the complex reality he has faced for years, during which he has worked two jobs to support his family.

"Do you know how much money passed through my hands and how much went on nonsense? I am really working on myself; you don't understand the level of calculations," Kanada told his partner.

He further noted that he sometimes has to sleep in his car due to his intensive work schedule: "If I finish working at 7:00 and I have a podcast at 9:00 in the morning, I sleep in the car. People tell me, 'How wonderful, you reinvented yourself, surely you make a lot of money from podcasts and campaigns,' but I am sleeping in the car."
